The two main ring attractions this year were the Gwynedd Axe Men and The Anglesey Hussars. The Gwynedd Axe Men delighted the crowd with their display of mastery of the weapon and gave talks on the art of axe wielding. After the various displays of wood chopping the members made little chairs out of the off cuts, complete with backs for the children to take home.

Whilst the Anglesey Hussars Company, who delighted the crowds and transported them back in time, by setting up a Napoleonic war camp, with the actors, clad in authentic costumes and armed with memorabilia. The main ring spectators watched as the warriors prepared for battle with their swords and lances.

Apart from the agricultural side there were many side shows and displays, especially to keep the children entertained. One popular children's entertainment is with Pedro - who returns from Portugal every year to attend the show and keeps the children entertained with all his circus skills.
